Originating from Zulu meaning "Home", Khaya Kite and Yoga Hostel was built up from scratch by a traveler, with the help of amazing friends. After spending many years travelling around the world we combined all the gathered knowledge into the best experience we can possibly offer you!

We're located only a 5 minute walk away to the beach, bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. It's the ultimate place to stay for kitesurfing, windsurfing, yoga or simply to enjoy the beach.
With a pool, wood-fired hot tub, remote work areas, a yoga garden, braai area, hammocks, slackline, woodfired pizza oven and more, there are endless things to explore and enjoy.

Sharing a room is not just about saving money. There is something about shuffling around in your pyjamas amongst strangers, that instantly makes you friends. Any backpacker will agree, while traveling you'll build some of the most meaningful friendships of your life.
But yeah, it's also cheap so come stay in our dorms!

If sharing a room isn't your jam, we have private double rooms (ensuite bathrooms) and twin rooms with 2 single beds for friends to share. Do you want to wake up in the Sky, the Jungle, the African Savanna, the Ocean or maybe to Sunrise colours? Each of our rooms is themed, one more fabulous than the other!
