Originating from Zulu meaning "Home", Khaya Kite and Yoga Hostel was built up from scratch by a traveler, with the help of great friends. After spending many years travelling around the world we combined all the gathered knowledge into the best experience we could possibly offer you in Bloubergstrand.

We're located only a 5 minute walk away to the beach, bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. It's the ultimate place to stay for kitesurfing, windsurfing and beach enthusiasts.
With a pool, outdoor jacuzzi, working spaces, a yoga garden, braai area, hammocks, slackline, woodfired pizza oven and more, there are endless things to explore and enjoy.

Sharing a room is not just about saving money. There is something about shuffling around in your pyjamas amongst strangers, that instantly makes you friends. Any backpacker will agree, while traveling you'll build some of the most meaningful friendships of your life.
But yeah, it's also dirt cheap so come stay in our dorms!

If sharing a room isn't your jam, we have private double rooms (ensuite bathrooms) and twin rooms with 2 single beds for friends to share. Do you want to wake up in the Sky, the Jungle, the African Savanna, under the Sun or at the Ocean? Each of our rooms is themed, one more fabulous than the other!
